Driver Requirements

1. Must meet all qualifications of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
2. Minimum of 23 years of age
3. 2 years of experience, verifiable; tractor/trailer over the road
4. Class “A” CDL
5. No felonies in the last 5 years
6. No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years:

A. Reckless/Careless Driving

B. Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs

C. Hit and run; leaving the scene of an accident; failure to report an accident

D. Excessive speeding as defined by the D.O.T.; any single offense for any speed 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit

E. Improper or erratic lane changes

F. Following the vehicle ahead too closely

7. No more than 4 moving violations in the last 3 years, or more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months
8. No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the accident scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within 3 years. (Disabling means damage that precludes departure of any motor vehicle from the scene of the accident in its usual manner in daylight after simple repairs) This includes damaged vehicles that are drivable, but incur further damage, if so driven.
9. Pass a D.O.T. physical as well as an enhanced performance physical.
10. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. if needed.
11. Must submit a urine sample that tests negative for drugs.
